Angry Woebots
I randomly searched “panda art” and came across these pieces by Angry Woebots.
Frank Cho
Here are some covers from one of my favorite comic book artists of all time Frank Cho. All these covers are from his comic strip turned comic book Liberty Meadows (Worth a read). The dude is so talented even his sketchbook excerpts are works of art.
Jeffery Hein
I can’t get enough of the colors, texture, and semi-photo-realisticness of these paintings by Jeffrey Hein. I know “semi-photo-realisticness” is not a word, but I hope you all can let it slide this once
Jeepney Art
Lately, during my daily commutes to work, I have been more and more fascinated with Jeepney art. I love the fact that jeepney drivers put their individual personalities into their jeeps. The result of their expression is an elaborate and decadent hodge podge of colors and frills. The inspirations for these designs can range from social aspirations, love, or the driver’s favorite NBA player (As illustrated in the last picture). The best part about all this art is that they are all put onto the vehicle by hand. Sometimes I like to take a couple of seconds to appreciate the splashes of color provided me by these jeeps during my morning commute because I feel that the love and care put into these pieces are deserving of my attention.
Imminent Disaster
I’ve never heard of Imminent Disaster before, but seeing this piece on the Wooster Collective I thought I should let you all know about her too.
Jonas Lofgren
Jonas Lofgren, who is also known as Bildmekanik, is an illustrator from Stockholm, Sweden. I like the aesthetic of his illustrations, they seem erie and comical at the same time. The black and white drawings are great and the little splashes of color just makes for a solid composition.

Louie Cordero
Incredible work by Louie Cordero from Malabon, Manila. Sorry, I can’t find his online portfolio.
Jonas Eslao
Some incredible work by Jonas Eslao who is from the Philippines. Unfortunately I could not find an online portfolio but when I do I’ll be sure to link you guys to it. In the mean time, enjoy the surrealistic goodness.
Brian Dettmer
I was looking into book sculptures wondering what kind of creative things people can do with books and came across these amazing pieces by Brian Dettmer.
Stephanie Brown
I really like these paintings by Stephanie Brown from Chicago, Illinois. I’ve been reading Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle lately and I think these paintings just really match well with the novel. It might be because the textures and ambiguous shapes remind me of slabs of meat. Whether you agree with me or not, that these painting capture the essence of the novel, Stephanie Brown’s work is still amazing. Click on the pictures to see these paintings in greater detail as well as more of her paintings.
