Guster “Demons” (acoustic)
Makes me feel like I’m eighteen again.
Future Bikes
It looks like designers are doing all they can to go either chain-less, fork-less, spoke-less, and seat stay-less. It is strange, however, that only Specialized is the only one in the group that thought of where to put brakes in their design.
I’m Still Here
This is supposed to open today. And I have to say that I’m pretty interested to see what this little documentary has to offer up.
Apparently Alarm Clocks Will Be Obsolete in 2014
So get on the TAT band wagon.
Bikes n’ Beer
Founded back in 2004 the Belgian Beer Cycling club has been dedicated to bringing the European social experience around the sport of cycling to Melbourne. And for thirty Australian dollars you can be part of the club too! Even though I do hold a deep love for all things Cycling related to Eddy Merckx, the reason for this post is for the cycling club’s fresh banners. I’m digging everything from the creamy background to the little silhouette cyclist.
Summertime Panniers
I know that summer is winding down for folks that experience all four seasons in the northern hemisphere, but over here in the Philippines the rainy season is winding down. So instead of dampness and humidity, I am looking forward to the cool breeze and sunshine that accompanies Christmas season in the Philippines. What better way to celebrate cool breeze and sunshine than a minty fresh pair of panniers for your bike from Eli over at Lemolo Bags. Granted the marine canvas bags are currently not in the stable of bags Lemolo has to offer (though they should be), but one can still appreciate the combination of the hand hammered brass grommets set against the cool marine blue canvas.
Is that a beaver on your shirt?
The month of August has been a month of goodbyes for me, the most disheartening of which came when I had to say goodbye to a dear Canadian friend of mine. However, she did leave me with a nifty Canadian t-shirt that sported a beaver as a logo. This peaked my interest so I did a little bit of investigating on the Roots website to see what else they have to offer. And to my surprise, what they have to offer up for the Fall 2010 season ain’t too shabby. In fact I’ll go ahead and state that you did good on this one Canada. So I’ve compiled some of my favorite items from Roots for your perusing pleasure as well as some of my favorite songs by Canadian born artists in honor of the lovely Ms. Leah Mooney.
